Get a first glimpse into Chichester Fringe 2024.
Stand up comedy
...including Farah Sharp (pictured), Phil Green, Natalie Bryce, Ben Ashurst, last year's New Act of The Year Competition Charlie Joyce and many more!
And speaking of New Act of the Year, that's back for 2024; the comedy competition that sees 20 up-and-coming comedians battle it out to win - and YOU decide.
Brand new and retold theatre
Performers from across the county and beyond will bring their brand new work to Chichester Fringe as part of New Writing Night and more, including Kitchen Sink Productions, Emma True, Steven Finley and Jack Stone.
Plus, your chance to see stories retold when companies like A2B Theatre (pictured) bring well-known plays to the Fringe.
Where is Chichester?
Chichester is approximately 25 minutes east of Portsmouth along the south coast. We have great connections to London and the South West thanks to direct train routes (and the beach is only 15 minutes away!).
Music and poetry
Just like last year, we'll bring you some of the newest and most exciting singers and musicians from our area and beyond, like Mia Reed (pictured), Laura Page and more.
Or if you're after beautiful stories told expertly by our artists, our spoken word poetry performers are for you.
Live podcasts and magic
In a Chichester Fringe first, podcasters will be recording special live versions of their shows, like the Gaming The System podcast, which you can attend.
And don't forget some fabulous magicians wowing us with their talent, like Mark Flynn (pictured) and The Crooked Croupier!
That’s not all, this year Chichester Fringe has a local sponsor:
The small family run fish and chip business is a huge part of the local community.
Katie Bennett, Chichester Fringe director, says:
“The support Yoddi has shown us since we started the Fringe has been so encouraging. We are thrilled and grateful to have La Fish on board as a sponsor.”
Plus 4 new venues join the Chichester Fringe family!
We're thrilled to say:
and The Old Court Room in the City Council Building (run by Chichester City Council)
are all hosting shows for Chichester Fringe this year!
And let's not forget the ever-popular Chichester Canal Cafe, Richmond boat, Draper’s Yard, Chichester City Arts Centre and One-o-Four are all returning this year for a host of exciting events throughout the Fringe, totalling 10 venues across the city!
