The 2024 schedule is ready!

Updated: Apr 13

It's time: learn more about the Chichester Fringe 2024 line-up.

This year, we're packing 70+ performers over 50 shows into 2 weeks, from Friday 31 May to Saturday 15 June. We've got everything from circus, theatre, music, comedy and musicals through to drag and cabaret. Basically, what we're saying is... you have to be there!

Josh Bowness, Chichester Fringe director, says:

“We’re so excited to announce our brand new line-up of artists for 2024. Chichester Fringe has a huge selection of shows, from plays to musicals, music to poetry… you may even get a sneak preview of a stand up comedian’s new show before it hits the Edinburgh Fringe! Discover something new on your doorstep.”

This year’s fringe programme includes stand-up shows from Farah Sharp, Phil Green, Natalie Bryce, Ben Ashurst, Marcus Dean and Dylan Dodds, as well as magic from The Crooked Croupier and Mark Flynn.

Chichester Canal Cafe hosts again too, with the return of Comedy on the Canal on the Richmond boat after a sell-out show during last year’s fringe. And there'll be up-and-coming and established musicians and singers flocking to Chichester to perform some unique covers and beautiful new music.

We're also delighted to be back again at the fabulous Chichester City Arts Centre , Draper’s Yard and One-o-Four too!

New venues!

New Park Centre, The Picture Palace, The Taco Box, The Guildhall in Priory Park (run by The Novium Museum) and The Old Court Room in the City Council Building (run by Chichester City Council) all host some of our shows this year and we're thrilled to have them all onboard.

Our New Act of The Year Competition returns

Epic Comedy is back, joining forces with us for another year. Last year’s winner Charlie Joyce will even be returning to perform at a new Comedy Night at The Taco Box!

20 comedians from Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey will be competing to become Chichester Fringe's New Act of the Year! It'll run over two heats and one grand final, with the winner performing on the pro Chichester Fringe show alongside some of the top names on the UK comedy circuit.

This year Chichester Fringe even has a local sponsor!

La Fish is a family run fish and chip business and a huge part of the local community.

Katie Bennett (Chichester Fringe director) said, “We are thrilled to have Yoddi on board as a sponsor, the support he has shown us since we started the Fringe has been so encouraging and we are very grateful to have La Fish as a sponsor for 2024."

Tickets for Chichester Fringe go on sale soon, with prices starting at as little as £5, and some events free.
