What you need to know

PLEASE NOTE: There are three events happening at New Park Studio this evening - you can book just this show (Ovid with Reverb) or a 'Combined Ticket' for all three shows (including 'Natalie Bryce: Galumpher' and 'Dylan Dodds: GroundDodds Day').

About the show

A rock and roll retelling of ancient myths, mixing wit with tragedy, traditional verse with anarchy and contemporary critique with a driving beat.

Based on the poetry of Steve Rushton, interpretations from the 1717 Dryden translation of Ovid’s "Metamorphoses" and including "The Goddess Pallas Beats Arachne" and "Salmacis Hermaphrodite".

About the artists

Ovid with Reverb brings together the poet, artist and drummer Steve Rushton with the performer and theatrical creator Lorrain Baggaley in a strange mix of the straight and the skewed, the old and the new.
