What is the grant?
Who can apply?
The Chichester Fringe 2025 Commissioning Grant is a route into Fringe.
At Chichester Fringe we are committed to championing new talent, so we are delighted to say, in 2025, we're offering a grant of £250 to two applicants seeking to develop their productions!
It's designed to give additional financial support to develop an artist or group performance. The grant applications for 2025 have now closed and we'll be in contact with the successful applicants.
The grant was open to everyone but in the application process you were asked how you'll use the money to support your production.

Where has the grant come from?
We've been kindly given this grant by Chichester City Council and we're focussed on giving it to performers who need support getting their production off the ground.
When will I find out if I've been gifted the grant?
We will announce the successful applicants in January 2025 but, if you are not selected, all is not lost as we may still offer you a place in Chichester Fringe 2025.
How do applications work?

If you've spent all year thinking to yourself, 'I really want to perform', 'I've got ideas for a show', 'I'm waiting for the right opportunity'... this is your chance to showcase your work in a safe space, with support from our dedicated and experienced production volunteers.
I'm not sure Chichester Fringe is right for me...
You won't know until you try. Don't be shy, if you're a creative (pro or just-starting-out), you're welcome at Chichester Fringe.
