About the show:
‘Toil’ tells the story of six women confined on a small farm and who must toil every day, in a state of 'transition', to atone for their past mortal sins. A new arrival upsets the harmony of the group, and it is through this new arrival that we learn why the women find themselves in this purgatory.
About the artists:
Lin Robinson (Troubadour Theatre) were one of two winners of the Chichester Fringe 2025 Commissioning Grant.
On the performance, she said "This will be a world premiere of this brand new play. I'm absolutely thrilled to be one of the two recipients of the first Chichester Fringe Commissioning Grant award and very grateful to the Fringe Team for considering me worthy of this funding."
